Abstract
DATA INPUT IS RECEIVED FROM THE BOOKING OFFICERS AT THE NEW ORLEANS LOCK-UP WHO TRANSFERS BOOKING FORM INFORMATION TO THE SYSTEM VIA COMPUTER TERMINAL. THE CAPABILITIES OF THE SYSTEM FOR INTERNALIZING THE VARIOUS KINDS OF INPUT ARE DESCRIBED. GOTCHA AUTOMATICALLY UPDATES CRIMINAL HISTORY AND ARREST RECORDS AND GENERATES TIMELY STATISTICAL REPORTS.
