Abstract
AMONG THE TRENDS IN COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY, IT IS NOTED THAT INFORMATION STORED IN A COMPUTER CAN BE MADE AVAILABLE TO DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY. FURTHER, THE COMBINATION OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES MAKES IT FEASIBLE TO ENVISION NETWORKS OF INFORMATION EXCHANGES ON A NATIONAL OR WORLDWIDE BASIS FOR UNIVERSITIES AND THE PROFESSIONS, AS WELL AS GOVERNMENT AND BUSINESS.
