Abstract
Discussions in the policy session focused on the role of judicial impact statements in relation to communications between the judiciary and the legislature. The theory session concentrated on the theoretical foundation of judicial impact assessment and how the prevailing political environment can affect the development and presentation of assessments. Participants in the applied session discussed practical issues associated with producing judicial impact assessments.
