Abstract
THE TESTIMONY WAS PRESENTED DURING 4 DAYS OF HEARINGS IN SEPTEMBER 1977. THE SUBCOMMITTEE WAS CONSIDERING A BILL TO AMEND THE CONSUMER CREDIT PROTECTION ACT BY PROVIDING SAFEGUARDS TO CONSUMERS IN THE USE OF CREDIT CARDS AND ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER SERVICES.
