SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE INTERACTION BETWEEN SOCIAL REVOLUTIONARY ATTITUDES AND POLICE BEHAVIOR, THE LEGITIMACY OF POLICE BEHAVIOR, AND THE INFLUENCE OF LOCAL CONDITIONS ON POLICE PRACTICES IN WEST GERMANY.
Abstract
THE ANALYSIS CONSTRUCTS SOCIOLOGICAL MODELS OF THE REACTIONS OF THE WEST GERMAN POLICE AS A POLITICAL INSTRUMENT OF THE RULING SOCIO-ECONOMIC CLASS TO THE BEHAVIOR OF ANTI-AUTHORITARIAN, SOCIAL-REVOLUTIONARY GROUPS IN THE WEST GERMAN POPULATION. THE BEHAVIOR OF THE POLICE IN BERLIN IS ANALYZED AS A REPRESSIVE AND BEHAVIOR OF THE POLICE IN MUNICH AS A MANIPULATIVE MODEL OF POLICE REACTION. THE DIFFERENCES ARE SEEN AS A FUNCTION OF THE ECONOMIC SITUATIONS IN THE CITIES. --IN GERMAN
