Abstract
AS A BACKGROUND FOR THE INSTITUTE EVALUATION, A DESCRIPTION OF THE HISTORY, FORMATION, AND FUNDING OF THE INSTITUTE FOR COURT MANAGEMENT IS PRESENTED. THE COURSE CURRICULUM IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR SECTIONS - IMMERSION (TO ORIENT THE STUDENT TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE ENVIRONMENT), SYSTEMATIC INSTRUCTION, (AN ACADEMIC PROGRAM DESIGNED TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH A GREATER COMPREHENSION OF COURTS), INTERNSHIP (THREE MONTHS OF ACTIVE RESEARCH WITHIN A COURT ENVIRONMENT), AND SEMINAR (A WRAP UP AND INTEGRATING EXPERIENCE). THE REPORT CONCLUDES WITH INFORMATION ON THE SELECTION OF STUDENTS, AND BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES OF THOSE WHO ATTENDED.
