Abstract
The report on the U.S. District Court consists of studies of the civil and criminal calendars, the operation of the jury commission, and the court's administration. A report on the Court of General Sessions addresses the civil calendaring and assignment system as well as juror use. The report on the Juvenile court covers caseflow, calendar management, and administration. The report on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit Court surveys court operations, and the report on the Court of Appeals surveys calendar management policies and practices. Reports on related agencies examine the U.S. Attorney's Office, the U.S. Marshal's Office, and defense services. Reports of special consultants analyze paperwork policies and procedures of the Criminal Clerk's Office of the Court of General Sessions and the reporting techniques of this court. Tables, charts.
