It has become apparent that the move to bring new or improved technological devices into the Federal judiciary is gaining momentum.
Abstract
In the wake of current budgetary restraints, it would be advisable to preface any such move with a complete systems analysis study to make certain that such a move is warranted. This note draws upon the experiences of the state court systems in this area during the last fifteen years as a basis for encouraging these evaluations. (Author abstract)
