Abstract
THE CONCEPT OF A JUDICIAL SYSTEM, THE IMPORTANCE OF JUDICIAL ROLE, AND COURTS AND THE LEGAL PROFESSION ARE FIRST DISCUSSED. POLITICAL INPUTS INTO THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM IN THE FORM OF THE SELECTION OF JUDGES, AND THE COURTS AND PARLIAMENT ARE ALSO EXAMINED. COURTS AND THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS ARE DISCUSSED IN RELATION TO THE BARRIERS AND ALTERNATIVES TO JUDICIAL REVIEW, THE ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL, POLITICAL REMEDIES, AND THE PARLIAMENTARY COMMISSIONER.
