OTHER TOPICS ARE THE POTENTIAL OF PRISON INDUSTRIES, THE ROLE OF THE ARMED FORCES IN PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH; EMPLOYMENT PROBLEMS OF EX-OFFENDERS, EDUCATION/WORK GRANTS FOR PEOPLE ON THE FRINGE OF THE ECONOMY, AND LAWS PROHIBITING EMPLOYERS FROM FIRING ARRESTED EMPLOYEES FOR THE DURATION OF A MANDATED 'COOLING OFF' PERIOD.
