Abstract
DIFFERENT TYPES OF HANDCUFFS ARE SHOWN, FROM THE 'COME-ALONG' TO THE MODERN VARIETY. IT IS REVEALED THAT NEW YORK POLICEMEN USED TO CARRY RATTLES TO CALL FOR AID. FRISKING, DISARMAMENT, AND RIOT CONTROL TECHNIQUES ARE DEMONSTRATED. POLICE VEHICLES ARE SHOWN FROM THE FIRST FOUR-MAN BICYCLE PATROL TO CONVERTIBLE AUTOS TO THE MODERN TWO-TONE POLICE CRUISER. THE FILM IS AIMED AT A YOUTHFUL VIEWING AUDIENCE.
