This 1981 Delaware report compares crime reports to police, adult arrests, and juvenile arrests to the levels experienced in the previous 5 years (1976-80).
Abstract
The report focuses on the seven major crime offenses of the major crime Index. The comparison of 1981 crime levels to 1976-80 levels addresses each offense and each category, e.g., murder offenses, adult arrests for murder, and juvenile arrests for murder. The number of incidents for 1981 in each offense category is compared to the general trend from 1976 through 1980. This trend is used to predict the number of incidents anticipated for 1981 by comparing the prediction to the actual 1981 incidents. Comparisons are presented graphically.
