This report presents statistics detailing crime patterns trends for 1992 for San Diego County (Calif.) and for individual jurisdictions in the county, as well as the responses of the criminal justice system.
Abstract
Statistics are presented regarding crime totals, violent crimes, property crimes, clearance rates, the recovery of stolen property, arson, and domestic assault. Data are also provided regarding adult case dispositions, adult and juvenile probation, adult and juvenile detention, and criminal justice employment and expenditures. Further sections detail findings of a study of gangs in San Diego, data regarding the relationship between drug abuse and crime, State and local numbers and characteristics of traffic accidents, and crime-related legislation.
