Abstract
Following a brief description of Wyoming's UCR system, data are presented in the general areas of violent crimes, property crimes, crime rates, distribution of Index offenses, clearances, and monthly and seasonal fluctuations. Offense data are then provided for murder, forcible rape, robbery, assault, burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, arson, and crime Index offenses by contributor. Data on stolen and recovered property encompass type of property stolen by offense, as well as property stolen in each reporting police jurisdiction. Arrest information covers arrestee age, arrests by offense, and arrests by each reporting agency. Personnel data deal with total number of employees, number of male and female officers and civilians, officers per 1,000 population, and Index crimes per officer.
