A SECTION DISCUSSING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF OFFENDERS INVESTIGATES SEX, AGE, DEMOGRAPHIC FACTORS, AND RECIDIVISM RATES. THE JUDICIAL PROCESS IS DESCRIBED AS IT RELATES DIRECTLY TO THE FELON, FOLLOWED BY THE SECTION ON THE CRIMINAL IN PRISON. THE TEXT IS HIGHLIGHTED BY A NUMBER OF CARTOONS, MOST OF WHICH WERE DRAWN BY INMATES CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS.
