Abstract
THE BILL OF RIGHTS AND THE BASIC LEGAL PRINCIPLES WHICH GOVERN THE VARIOUS ASPECTS OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE (ARREST, SEARCH AND SEIZURE, TRIAL) ARE EXPLAINED IN DETAIL. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE OFFERED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF JUSTICE IN TRIBAL JUDICIAL SYSTEMS.
