Abstract
Eight articles are provided by different authors on different aspects of intelligence analysis. Topics include a discussion of the functions of intelligence, an exploration of the role of intelligence analysis in law enforcement, plans for collection and analysis, an examination of the use of network analysis in intelligence, discussions of on telephone records analysis, tape recorded conversations, the development of inferences from intelligence data, and techniques in writing intelligence reports. Biographies are provided and references are included in the individual articles.
