Abstract
This is the Seventh Annual Report of the Criminal Justice Commission, covering the period July 1, 1995 to June 30, 1996. The report presents detailed summaries of activities and programs, including evaluation and audit results and plans for future activities, in the following categories: (1) Police and Criminal Justice Research, Reform and Monitoring; (2) Police and Public Sector Integrity, including complaints investigation and review, and misconduct prevention; (3) Intelligence; (4) Organized and Major Crime Investigation; (5) Witness Protection; and (6) Corporate Management and Accountability, including a financial summary. Each program discussion presents structure, objectives, performance indicators, and strategies. The report includes a profile of the Criminal Justice Commission, the Parliamentary Criminal Justice Committee, its component divisions, chairperson and commissioners.
