This article discusses Internet and mailing lists in general and criminal justice lists in particular.
Abstract
An overview of 13 different criminal justice lists is presented and three different types of lists are detailed: (1) distribution lists such as JUSTINFO and CJMOVIES; (2) conference lists such as CJUST-L; and (3) information sharing lists such as UNCJIN-L. The number of American and international subscribers and their presumed occupations are discussed in relation to the context of lists. In addition, the author gives instructions on how to send commands to list servers and on how to locate relevant criminal justice lists on the Internet. 1 reference and 1 note
