Topics covered range from corrections, juvenile justice drug abuse, criminology, police, rehabilitation, and courts. Entries are cross references to provide searching ease, and indexing is controlled using a thesaurus. Subject headings are based on the Library of Congress Subject Headings, as supplemented with new entries representing new issues and technology. Each entry includes a complete journal citation along with bibliographic information. Journal articles, book, film, and periodical reviews and reports are included. Entries are included in the subject index and authors are listed in an author index.
