This instructor's manual offers supplemental materials which complement the student text (see NCJ 72458) and provide a complete teaching program for criminal law.
Abstract
The manual contains a summary of the basic points of each chapter in the text, which the instructor should find useful in preparing classroom lectures or discussing that topic area. Chapters cover such subjects as basic principles of liability, defenses (excuse and justification), preliminary crimes, crimes against the person, crimes against the habitation, crimes against property, and crimes against society in general. In addition, comprehensive questions and answers on the subject matter of each chapter are supplied following the chapter summary. These materials are sufficient in scope to be used for a detailed final examination, but may also be used for classroom quizzes or to supplement other examination material, should the instructor desire. The material contained in the student text and this manual are designed to be used for the college criminal justice student. (Author abstract modified)
