Abstract
THE AUTHOR DEMONSTRATES THE ACTUAL TECHNIQUES OF WITNESS INTERROGATION IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH THE RULES OF EVIDENCE AND PROCEDURE DEVELOPED IN THE FIRST TWO VOLUMES. MODEL QUESTIONS FOR DIRECT AND CROSSEXAMINATION HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED. SOME OF THE SPECIFIC AREAS OF EXAMINATION INCLUDE THE BACKGROUND INQUIRY, VARIOUS SPECIALIZED MEDICAL AND TECHNICAL EXPERTS, HYPOTHETICAL QUESTIONS, CHAIN OF CUSTODY, AND THE OFFERING OF EXHIBITS. THE BEST EVIDENCE RULE, AND THE USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS, MOTION PICTURES, RECORDINGS, AND VOICEPRINTS ARE DISCUSSED.
