Abstract
The first part of the volume includes articles on urban criminality, brain dysfunction and criminal violence, psychopaths in Japanese society, and injustices in the treatment of racial minorities. The second part specifically deals with terrorism and violent adolescent females. The third part examines causes of juvenile violence, whether juvenile offenders should be tried in adult courts, and circumstances in which juveniles should go to jail. The next four parts contain articles on computer crime, corporate crime, jobs, victimization and the victim industry, police misconduct, and causes of criminal behavior. The final part addresses what to do about crime, firearms trafficking, enforcement techniques, and crime patterns. References, endnotes, and figures
