The final report of the Coalition of a United Elizabeth (CUE) in New Jersey highlights the goals, objectives, and accomplishments in seven of the project's crime prevention components.
Abstract
Activities and accomplishments are detailed for the community anticrime program, the antiarson organizing program, the delinquency prevention program, the youth club program, the friends of juveniles program, the human relations institute, and the community anticrime task force. Significant contributions to crime prevention activities are noted in the areas of community block club action, heightened awareness of the need for arson prevention, positive youth recreational programs directed at deterring antisocial behavior, and the prevention of a fraudulent petition drive to abolish rent control. The most significant problem noted is a grand jury investigation of CUE.
