Abstract
Introductory chapters discuss criminal intent, defenses, participants in crime, and general crimes including attempt, solicitation of another to commit a felony, and conspiracy. This document explains statutory revisions of offenses including homicide, assaults, sexual assault, robbery and related offenses, burglary and breaking and entering, arson, trespass and property damage, larceny and embezzlement, fraud and forgery, disorderly conduct and riot, crimes against the administration of justice, weapons offenses, crimes against sexual morality, prostitution, gambling, drug offenses, and motor vehicle offenses. The book also covers appellate court cases that changed or clarified case law and significant new offenses related to offenses already discussed in the original text. This supplement covers the period through the 1989 session of the North Carolina General Assembly and cases decided through December 1989.
