Abstract
PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED FOR JUVENILES UNDER COURT ORDER FOR INTERMEDIATE TREATMENT WHICH ENTAILS RESIDENCE FOR EITHER 3 MONTHS OR 30 DAYS DURING EACH YEAR OF SUPERVISION AT A RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTER. THE TYPES OF TREATMENT DESCRIBED ARE: RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT; ACTIVITY GROUPS; OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES; PLAYGROUP AND WORK WITH MOTHERS AND CHILDREN; HOLIDAY CLUBS; AND REMEDIAL EDUCATION. STAFFING REQUIREMENTS AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS ARE ALSO TREATED IN THIS ARTICLE.
