AN OVERVIEW OF THE SUBSYSTEM CONCEPT, THE FUNCTIONS OF THE CORRECTIONAL SUBSYSTEM, AND THE SUBSYSTEMS FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES.
Abstract
IT IS STATED THAT THE CORRECTIONS SUBSYSTEM WILL REQUIRE SPECIFIED INPUT FROM CORRECTIONAL AGENCIES OF THE REGION, COMPATABILITY WITH OTHER REGIS SUBSYSTEMS, AND EFFICIENT MONITORING OF THE CORRECTIONS STATUS OF ACTIVE OFFENDERS. RECORDS FOR THE CORRECTIONS SUBSYSTEM ARE ORIGINATED PRIMARILY THROUGH THE INTERFACING ARREST-BOOKING FILE. COMPONENTS OF THE CORRECTIONAL SUBSYSTEM ARE A CORRECTIONS INDEX, CORRECTIONS AGENCY MODULES, AND A CORRECTIONS TRACKING FILE. THE FUNCTIONS OF THESE COMPONENTS ARE DESCRIBED. IMPLEMENTATION STAGES OF THE SUBSYSTEM ARE OUTLINED.
