DISCUSSION OF THE METHOD TO BE USED IN PREPARING A JOINT, COMPARATIVE STUDY OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND JUVENILE DELINQUENCY IN FRANCE, HUNGARY, YUGOSLAVIA, POLAND AND GREECE.
Abstract
THE STUDY WAS TO CONSIST OF TWO PARTS. THE FIRST, A STATISTICAL STUDY CONDUCTED IN EACH COUNTRY, WOULD COVER REGIONAL VARIATIONS IN DELINQUENCY, ANALYZED IN TERMS OF THE NATURE AND EXTENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE RESPECTIVE REGIONS. THE SECOND WOULD CONSIST OF A SOCIOCULTURAL AND PSYCHOSOCIAL STUDY OF THE BACKGROUNDS OF JUVENILE DELINQUENTS AND NONDELINQUENT MEMBERS OF A CONTROL GROUP, SOME LIVING IN DEVELOPED AND OTHERS IN RELATIVELY UNDERDEVELOPED REGIONS.
