RESEARCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP OF EEG FREQUENCIES TO ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR, FOR USE IN EXPANDING PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION IN A VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM.
Abstract
SIXTY SUBJECTS WERE SELECTED AT RANDOM FROM THE PRISON POPULATION OF GEORGIA INDUSTRIAL INSTITUTE. THE SPECIFIC HYPOTHESIS INVESTIGATED WAS - YOUNG OFFENDERS WITH ABNORMAL BRAIN WAVE PATTERNS WILL DIFFER SIGNIFICANTLY FROM YOUNG OFFENDERS WITH NORMAL EEG PATTERNS IN THEIR ABILITY TO ADJUST TO THE DEMANDS OF VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION TRAINING, PAROLE, AND OUT-OFPRISON JOB DEMANDS. STATISTICAL RESULTS OF THE PHYSICAL EXAMINATION, PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS, EEG RATINGS, AND COMPOSITE ADJUSTMENT RATINGS, ARE SUMMARIZED FOR EACH MAN.
