Abstract
MORE PERMISSIVE DISCOVERY PRACTICES FOR CRIMINAL CASES THAN IS PROVIDED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN ANY JURISDICTION IN THE UNITED STATES IS PROPOSED AND A PROCEDURE PRIOR TO TRIAL WHICH IS DESIGNED NOT ONLY TO ACCOMMODATE SUCH DISCOVERY BUT TO CORRECT CERTAIN GENERAL DISSATISFACTIONS WITH CRIMINAL LITIGATION. AREAS DISCUSSED INCLUDE REQUIREMENTS FOR DISCLOSURE TO THE ACCUSED AND PROSECUTION, REGULATION OF DISCOVERY, AND PROCEDURE REQUIREMENTS. APPENDICES AND BIBLIOGRAPHY ARE ALSO INCLUDED.
