Abstract
Individual sections of the report explain the District of Columbia's committees, administration, and organization of the courts, operating budget, revenues and expenditures, mission statement, and the courts involvement in the community. Additional sections present information and statistical data on activities within the Court of Appeals and Superior Court including criminal, civil, family, probate, and multi-door dispute resolution activity. Statistical highlights included: case filings, caseload trends, felony indictments, U.S. misdemeanors, criminal trial trends, small claims, abuse and neglect, juvenile referral, probate caseloads, family mediation, domestic violence, and juror panel utilization.
