Abstract
AMONG THE AREAS DISCUSSED ARE THE FIELD OPERATIONS DIVISION, THE PATROL DIVISION WITH ITS SEVEN DISTRICTS, THE SPECIAL OPERATIONS DIVISION, THE TRAFFIC AND YOUTH DIVISIONS, THE HOMICIDE BRANCH AND BURGLARY AND PAWN SECTION. THE REPORT REVIEWS ACTIVITIES IN THE SEX OFFENSE BRANCH, THE USE OF POLICEWOMEN, THE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES BUREAU, THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS DIVISIONS, THE TECHNICAL AND INSPECTIONAL SERVICES BUREAUS, THE TRAINING, TECHNICAL SERVICES, PROPERTY, COMMUNICATIONS, IDENTIFICATIONS AND RECORDS, AND OPERATIONS PLANNING AND DATA PROCESSING DIVISIONS. CHANGES AND NEW PROGRAMS SUCH AS PROMIS AND THE CRIME INFORMATION SYSTEM ARE DISCUSSED. THE INVESTIGATION OF NO-PAPER AND DISMISSAL RATES BY THE OFFICE OF THE GENERAL COUNSEL IS OUTLINED.
