REPORT EVALUATES, FOR FUNDING PURPOSES, A BOSTON URBAN PROJECT THAT SEEKS TO INCREASE THE LEVEL OF CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT IN THE DISTRICT COURT PROCESS.
Abstract

A SECOND COMPONENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PROBATION DEPARTMENT, CONDUCTS SUPERVISION OF CLIENTS. THE THIRD COMPONENT COORDINATES SERVICES TO THE VICTIM. THE AUTHOR RECOMMENDS CONTINUATION OF LEAA FUNDING FOR THE PROJECT. IT IS TOO EARLY, ACCORDING TO THE AUTHOR, TO LABEL THE PROJECT EXEMPLARY AS A MODEL FOR SIMILAR PROJECTS. THE STUDY DISCUSSES THE APPLICABILITY OF ASPECTS OF THE PROJECT TO ALREADY EXISTING PROGRAMS....BS
