Abstract
The Uniform Controlled Substances Act has provisions that pertain to drug regulation and control, drug prescriptions, the use of controlled substances, drug offenses and penalties, analogs, the Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, seizure and disposition, the collection and disposition of fines, and the control of users of controlled substances. Other provisions of the act relate to educational programs and the clandestine laboratory enforcement program. Another part of the Health and Safety Code pertinent to drugs is the Imitation Controlled Substances Act. This act addresses products that are designed or manufactured to resemble the physical appearance of a controlled substance. A section on miscellaneous health and safety provisions pertains to the State's regulation of the disposition of any hazardous substance that is an illegal controlled substance or is used in the manufacture of such a substance. Other drug-related laws are presented from the Business and Professions Code, the Penal Code, the Vehicle Code, and the Welfare and Institutions Code. A subject index
