To control drug abuse and violent crime, South Carolina has adopted a comprehensive and balanced approach to its use of Federal drug grant funds, working on both demand and supply aspects by subsidizing prevention and treatment programs and assisting law enforcement and the court system.
Abstract
South Carolina's Department of Public Safety funded 118 grants to State and local agencies between July 1993 and June 1994, for a total of $8,807,636.
