Abstract
ARTICLES ARE INCLUDED WHICH ANALYZE THE INTERNATIONAL DRUG TRAFFIC AND ITS IMPACT ON AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY, THE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY, THE AMERICAN MILITARY, AND THE DOMESTIC AMERICAN DRUG PROBLEM. THE RESPONSES OF FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS AND THE UNITED NATIONS TO THE INCREASING U.S. EMPHASIS ON AN INTERNATIONAL PROHIBITION ON UNCONTROLLED POPPY CULTIVATION ARE EXAMINED.
