This 11-part videotape series is designed to increase the police officer's understanding of the aspects of enforcing DUI (driving under the influence) legislation, including detection, apprehension, and adjudication.
Abstract
The tapes are intended to sharpen officers skills in various areas relevant to DUI enforcement. Some of the areas covered are (1) how to spot the 'hidden' DUI driver, (2) how to correctly administer physical and chemical tests that determine the level of alcohol consumption, (3) how to make the arrest procedure as safe as possible, (4) how to prepare pretrial paperwork, and (5) how to testify with confidence.
