The article presents a profile of economic or white collar crime in Colombia, referencing Article 240 of the Colombian Constitution, and discusses how the State can combat this crime based on understanding of its development and function.
Abstract
The psychological profile of those who commit economic crimes is described, and the effects of the crime are outlined. Social reaction and judgement of economic crime offenders is also reviewed. It is suggested that laws and legal recourse are the best defense against this type of crime. 25 notes
