Shoplifting has been attributed to many psychological and physiological factors, especially when women are involved.
Abstract
This article examines the many factors that account for shoplifting behavior focusing on research findings which suggest economic and employment precipitants of the problem. Changes in policy and programmatic responses to shoplifters are suggested. (Author abstract)
