Abstract
OIL, GAS, COAL AND ELECTRICITY ARE DISCUSSED. THE WAYS TO CONSERVE FUEL AND ENERGY INCLUDE CHANGES IN BUILDING DESIGN, CHANGES IN ELECTRICITY GENERATION, CHANGES IN TRANSPORTATION METHODS, CHANGES IN INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES, CHANGES IN ENERGY PRICES, AND CHANGES IN ELECTRIC ENERGY RATE SCHEDULES. THE AUTHORS NOTE THAT NONE OF THE CONSERVATION MEASURES THEY SUGGEST REQUIRE NEW TECHNOLOGY.
