LINEAR ANALYSES OF DEMOGRAPHIC AND FAMILY STRUCTURE VARIABLES RESULTED IN A FINDING OF A NEGATIVE EFFECT OF INCOME ON DELINQUENCY. DATA USED INCLUDED 1960 CENSUS DATA AND INFORMATION ON ARRESTS AND COURT APPEARANCES FOR MALES IN THE SAMPLE POPULATIONS FOR 1958-1962.
