This paper reports on the design of various microstrip antennas (MAs).
The design used a new version of binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) algorithm in which the velocity calculation is modified in order to arrive at an accelerated and robust search procedure, particularly for software defined applications. (Publisher abstract provided)
