Abstract
DURING THE CONSULTANT'S ON-SITE VISIT IN SEPTEMBER 1973, HE CONTACTED CITY, DEPARTMENTAL, AND TRAINING DIVISION OFFICIALS TO GATHER AND REVIEW ALL AVAILABLE DATA PERTINENT TO THE NEEDS OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MADE FOR LONG- AND SHORT-TERM FACILITY PLANNING; BILINGUAL, IN-SERVICE, ROLL CALL, AND FIELD TRAINING; SUPERVISORY AND COMMAND TRAINING; LIBRARY FACILITIES; ACADEMY STAFF; AND RECRUIT SCHOOL CURRICULUM. RECOMMENDATIONS MADE WERE STATED TO BE ADEQUATE TO MEET THE NEEDS FOR THREE TO FIVE YEARS.
