Abstract
DISCUSSED ARE THE DEVELOPMENT AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF INNOVATIVE MANAGEMENT AND SECURITY PLANNING AND ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES, THE TRAINING OF FIELD STAFF, THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE MATERIALS ON SECURITY FOR STAFF, RESIDENTS AND MANAGERS, AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF DEMONSTRATIONS WHICH WILL IDENTIFY AND TEST A VARIETY OF SECURITY MEASURES WHICH WILL ADDRESS THE SPECIFIC SECURITY NEEDS OF FAMILY AND ELDERLY HOUSING ASSISTED OR INSURED BY THE DEPARTMENT.
