Abstract
This Web page from the National Sexual Violence Resource Center provides information for use by sexual assault advocates and others in the community who wish to engage bystanders in efforts to present sexual violence. The page provides access to an information packet that includes a series of documents on bystander intervention, including current research and resources, as well as examples of bystander programs. The packet includes the following documents: Annotated Bibliography - research articles, books, and presentation materials on bystander intervention theory; Bulletin - tips for use on how to intervene to prevent sexual violence, examples of bystander intervention, and a list of resources; Guide - highlights each program and its unique approach to bystander intervention; Overview - an overview of bystander intervention, including key features and successful bystander education prevention programs; Research Brief - list of research into the mobilization of bystander behavior; Resource List - list of resources for use by communities and their partners to develop, implement, and sustain bystander intervention programs; and Online Special Collection - information and resources on bystander intervention.
