Abstract
The report includes the various categories of the Department’s operations and the steps taken to enhance diversity and address intolerance. Operations categories include: (1) Recruitment; (2) Ohio Corrections Assessment Center; (3) Affirmative Action and Diversified Workplace; (4) Training; (5) Bureau of Equal Employment Opportunity; (6) Equal Employment Opportunity Statistics; (7) Career Development; (8) Employee Participation; (9) Minority Business Enterprise; and (10) Reducing Racial Tension in Prison. In addition, the report contains statistical charts titled Minority Staffing; Diversity Training for All New Corrections Officers; Diversity Training for All New Non-CO Employees; Diversity Training for Current Employees; Percentage of Minorities in Upper Management; and Minority Business Enterprise Spending. The report also contains directions on how to apply for employment with the Department.
