Abstract
The following steps associated with creating a paperless crime analysis network are outlined: (1) retrieve and export data; (2) begin mapping; (3) copy map window; (4) access graphics software; and (5) place data and images into the appropriate network folder. Indexing and command menus to maintain labeling, storage, and naming consistency are addressed, as well as the need to prioritize information, access to data tables, and information retrieval. The author believes that networked crime analysis exploits the latest advances in network technology. 1 figure
