This issue of the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin contains two feature articles and six department articles.
Abstract
This issue contains two feature articles: 1) Vigilance Fatigue in Policing examines how personnel tasked with processing large amounts of data, identifying risks, and responding to perceived threats can lose focus as a result of information overload and performance-related pressure; and 2) Armored Car Industry Reciprocity Act and Local Law Enforcement examines how agencies have an important role in ensuring that armored car crew members carry weapons legally and as needed. Six department articles discuss a brief history of the FBI, a VICAP alert for an unidentified female found in LaVergne, TN; the article, In Pursuit of Cooperation, which discusses how Idaho police agencies have joined together to better public safety services; Leadership Spotlight which discusses abuse of discretion; an art page consisting of a montage of previous FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin magazines covers; and Bulletin Honors which describes the Division of Police Memorial in Columbus, OH.
