THIS NOTE EXAMINES PRESENT-DAY FEDERAL WITNESS-IMMUNITY PRACTICES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WITNESS IMMUNITY ACT OF 1970 RELEVANT TO THE INVESTIGATION AND PROSECUTION OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.
Abstract
THE DEVELOPMENT OF AND PROCEDURAL CONSIDERATIONS UNDER THE PRESENT STATUTORY SCHEME ARE DISCUSSED. WEAKNESSES AND DEFICIENCIES OF THE PRESENT LEGISLATION ARE IDENTIFIED AND ANALYZED.
