Abstract
The manual is divided into four sections. Section I describes the steps required to apply structured sentencing in district court. These include determining the offense class for each felony conviction, determining the offender's prior record level, considering aggravating and mitigating factors, selecting a minimum sentence from the sentence range, and determining the sentence disposition. Section II describes additional sentencing provisions. Section III describes additional probation provisions. Section IV provides sample exercises, answers, and commentary.
